Arts Center

National Tsing Hua University Center of Art and Culture was founded in 1988 with the aim of enhancing the artistic atmosphere on campus, cultivating talents in humanities, art, and sciences, and serving as a cradle for exhibitions and performances with social and cultural significance. It was the pioneering art center among universities in Taiwan. Since its establishment, the Center has played a crucial role in promoting art and culture on campus and in the community. It is responsible for organizing art exhibitions, promoting art education and activities, enhancing appreciation of arts and culture, and assisting in beautifying the campus. The Center has been committed to developing diverse and comprehensive art activities, serving faculty, students, and the local community in Hsinchu. It has contributed to the development of the local arts and cultural industry by providing opportunities for artists to showcase their work in various fields such as visual arts, music, performing arts, and film. The center strives to interpret contemporary art styles and provides opportunities for face-to-face interaction between campus residents, community members, and contemporary artists. It aims to create an excellent artistic environment and atmosphere, establish a distinctive artistic image and reputation, and promote aesthetic education.
