“De Habitat” — Taiwan D. B. Art Collective Artists
This inspiring exhibition was born from many visits to Guandu Nature Park by Taiwan D. B. Art Collective founder Han Shu-hua and her wonderful artists. The D. B. artists slowly but surely formed a deep emotional connection with this wetland. They wandered through the wetlands and shared stories over and over again. They turned these feelings and thoughts into beautiful creations, sharing their observations of the world and their thoughts on sustainability through the lens of art. "De Habitat" (棲坔), which is a homophone for "Habitat," beautifully captures the essence of the challenges faced by plants and animals in their natural environments due to human development. It also symbolizes the Taiwan D. B. Art Collective as a sanctuary for artists' souls. It's a place where artists can find solace, nurture their creations, and cultivate their dreams. We invite you to enter "De Habitat" through the eyes of Taiwan D. B. Art Collective's creators, contemplating the interaction between humanity and natural ecosystems, while sparking innovative thinking and action.
