【Jie Ying Taking Roots】NTHU Heritage Museum from Blueprint to a New Chapter

經過多年的醞釀與精心規劃，國立清華大學凝聚歷史記憶與未來希望的寶庫——「捷英文物館」正逐步成形。這裡不僅記錄東亞時代跨越的進程，更將成為未來世代編織夢想的起點。
特別感謝長期支持文物館的楊儒賓、方聖平教授伉儷，以及台積電文教基金會董事長、清華名譽博士曾繁城先生及夫人的信任與無私，讓文物館興建計畫得以在2021年啟動。曾博士以父母之名為館舍命名，使文物館以「捷英館」之姿，迎向嶄新的篇章。
值此時刻，我們誠摯邀請所有清華人一同回顧這段理想孕育與實踐的歷程，聆聽捷英文物館在清華之森中的願景與期盼，攜手見證這座融合記憶與創新的文化地標所開啟的無限可能。
展覽分成兩個部份，第一單元為「捷英館啟航」，呈現建館過程的各個階段，由描繪藍圖、起建動土、嶄新落成，並展望未來館舍發展。第二單元「展覽回顧」呈現文物館籌備建館過程中曾舉辦的展覽，精選展出焦點展件，回顧歷年展示的精彩時刻。
After years of deliberation and careful planning, the JieYing Heritage Museum, a treasure trove of historical memory and future aspirations at National Tsing Hua University, is gradually taking shape.
In 2008, the museum's initial seed was planted, thanks to the generosity and advocacy of Professors Yang Rur-bin and Fang Sheng-ping. In 2015, with the warm response of many Tsing Hua alumni, the Preparatory Office of the Museum was established. In 2022, the Heritage Museum was documented as an official institution of NTHU. Along the way, the museum's vision has become increasingly clear.
A special acknowledgment goes to Dr. Tseng Fang-churng, Chairman of TSMC Education and Culture Foundation and an honorary doctorate recipient of Tsing Hua, together with his wife, for their trust and generosity. Their donation of NT$110 million enabled the commencement of the museum's construction in 2021. In remembrance of his parents' lifelong dedication, Dr. and Ms. Tseng named the museum building in their honor, symbolizing a profound legacy that transcends family and society. Thus, the museum embarks on a new chapter as the "Jie Ying Heritage Museum".
At this significant moment, we sincerely invite all members of the Tsing Hua community to join us in exploring the museum's vision and witnessing the boundless possibilities that this cultural landmark—where memory meets innovation—will bring to life.
This exhibition consists of two sections. The first, "Jie Ying Heritage Museum: The Journey Begins," presents the key milestones of the museum's development—from the building's initial blueprints and groundbreaking to its completion and envisioned future. The second section, "Revisiting Past Exhibitions," highlights previous exhibitions staged during the museum's planning and construction phases, featuring select artifacts that capture memorable moments from past displays.
