Hsiao Chu-Fang excels at using simple colors and lines to weave together fragmented feelings. Her works, often centered around people, convey daily life matters with a relaxed and humorous painting style. Her characters are distinctive, reflecting various emotional states. Some are humorous and amusing, while others are quiet and full of philosophical thought. By using clean, free-flowing lines and bright colors, she transforms ordinary scenes into whimsical imaginations, to cheer up stressful life.

Painting has always been her primary medium of artistic expression. She grew up in the post-millennial era and was impacted by the cartoon-style painting, she became prominence in Taiwan's contemporary art. Hsiao Chu-Fang creates a highly recognizable personal style. She portrays the microcosm of everyday life—such as trivial matters and subtle emotions—through character designs, complemented by bold lines and flat painting techniques.

She titled this exhibition "The Moon Pierces My Heart" because she believes that the moon's changing phases mirror the fluctuating emotions we experience. The sight of the moon can evoke different feelings, serving as a dialogue with one's inner self. British contemporary artist David Hockney once said, "The purpose of painting is to make people see the world more clearly." As time passes, each moment brings different scenes and memories. Observing the world is, in essence, also an introspection, a process of discovering problems and seeking solutions or answers. Through this solo exhibition, Hsiao Chu-Fang aims to present various facets of her inner expressions and document her life.
