COLASA, Lin Hsuan Yi, received formal art education since childhood and acquired professional art knowledge. After graduation, he tries to challenge traditional art style with abstract rebellious graffiti. He infuses representational art with Eastern and Western elements which made him unique. The artist loves to experiment various materials and substances to enhance the richness of artworks, such as acrylic, spray paint, cloth, plastic bags, fiberglass, rubberized asphalt, wool, clay, cement, plaster, tattoo, 3D animation, synthesizer, AI, AR, VR, NFT, etc. The series of works in this exhibition are divers in types, closer to the artist's own perception, presenting reflection and interpretation of time, using clay sculptures to deduce and stack up layer by layer.
COLASA's creative scope spans the fields of street, fashion, and performance art. In recent years, it has been favored internationally to participate in large-scale live art impromptu graffiti creations such as Nuit Blanche. He and has been invited to Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada and other places to participates in large-scale art joint exhibitions. It has cooperated with many well-known brands such as Audi, Audemars Piguet, CHARLES&KEITH, Levi's, SPORT b., rag & bone, XBOX, Warner Films, etc., and accepted exclusive interviews with magazines and radio broadcasts in Taiwan, Japan, France and other countries. COLASA continues to lead the graffiti art, igniting new waves of natural resonance and inspiring impact.
