The exhibition title is drawn from Tao Yuanming’s poem Reading the Classic of Mountains and Seas. Minggan refers to bamboo, while Qingyao signifies water. The concept of liuguan—flowing observation—carries an implicit metaphor of being immersed in an experience while simultaneously maintaining an objective perspective.

In addition to exploring themes related to time, this exhibition also reflects on the evolution of the artist’s work from 2012 to 2022. The paintings feature layered textures that embody life experiences and an imaginative space inspired by nature, constructing a world rich in visual symbolism.
